About Shimmer
Shimmer – A small group of us local Witney party bringers recently found ourselves together in the pub, and after a couple of drinks, we decided to create something that we think will be rather special. Collectively, our ethos is to provide fun parties that are absolutely not about making a profit; they’re about making sure everyone who attends has a great time. It’s all about quality, not quantity.

SHiMMER presents DIA DE LOS MUERTOS at Fat Lils!
Round up the troops. Gather your party posse. Dig out your fancy dress. Because WE ARE BACK and we’re here to create another party like no other.
If you came to the incredible Monster Ball last year you will know what to expect. Once again, we will go all out to create another incredible no-holds-barred experience for you.
Last time we sold out with six weeks to go. This WILL sell out. There is no guest list. If you want to be there you must buy tix! These will be available on a tiered pricing basis with very limited “golden tix” available right now but when they’re gone, they’re gone. Later, we’ll release some “early birds” before the “general release” tix but do yourselves a favour and get involved right now! If you have a large group (10+) please drop us a DM and we’ll do you a deal.
Expect the usual Halloween party music from Witney’s best-of-the-best DJs and a fun vibe with plenty of surprises along the way.
We also have an epic SHiMMER Pre-Party planned. This time it will be at The Three Horseshoes from 7pm and will be FREE to attend for tix holders. More details to follow soon. AND make sure you’re there for the OFRENDA PROCESSION to Fat Lils ahead of the main event from 9pm.

Join us Down The Rabbit Hole for a party like no other…
“Curiouser and curiouser!” exclaimed Alice.
Following the incredible Halloween Monster Ball at Fat Lils, the Shimmer team has now turned its efforts to the next epic party, to which you are all cordially invited… DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE.
As always, expect the unexpected as we take you on a fabulous journey of fun and adventure, with your favourite Alice In Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass characters and settings.
We thoroughly recommend immersing yourself fully by coming along in FANCY DRESS and there will be prizes galore on offer for the best-of-the-best! Of course, we’ll also have plenty of our usual surprises inside the re-modelled Fat Lils; and, if you came to our Monster Ball, you’ll know what’s what by now
Watch out for our four-to-collect playing card flyers appearing over the coming weeks. They contain a codeword which you can use as you arrive for a very special treat.
There are plenty more details to follow very soon, including details of the free-pre-party!

SHiMMER presents THE MONSTER BALL this Halloween at Fat Lils!
Gather your freaky friends, round up your monstrous mates, and get your favourite FANCY DRESS costumes at the ready for a Halloween party like no other. As you venture through the haunted house entrance of Fat Lils, prepare to set foot into a dark and moody setting with candlelight & fog machines, cobwebs & skeletons, and a super spooky atmosphere. Expect surreal twists of horror and marvellous mystery all night long. There will most definitely be Murder on the Dancefloor under our full moon disco ball with a mix of the best classic Halloween tunes -the likes of Thriller, Monster Mash, and Super Freak- and party music that will most definitely have you throwing your hands in the air and waving them like you just don’t care.
We are also delighted to announce that we will host The Monster Ball pre-party “The Raveyard” next door at The Edge at Lils with DJs from 7pm-10pm (this is free entry for The Monster Ball attendees).
